Koua Thao is a Graduate Assistant for Fraternity & Sorority Life at the University of San Diego. He is also a student in the M.A. Higher Education Leadership due to graduate in May of 2019. He is a Founding Father of the Eta Mu Theta, Hmong Fraternity at the California State University, Chico.
Zulairam Ruiz-Agosto

Zulairam is a Counselor for the One Stop Student Center at the University of San Diego. She received her Master's Degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from USD. She is also a Founding Sister of the Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. at the University of Vermont.
Dr. Antonieta Mercado
Advisor
Dr. Mercado teaches classes on Media and Conflict, International Media, Introduction to Media Studies, and Public Relations and Social Movements. Dr. Mercado studies the communication and citizenship practices of Mexican indigenous immigrants in the United States, and how those practices extend to the transnational public sphere, contributing to forms of world citizenship or “grassroots cosmopolitanism.”
Dr. Esteban Del Rio

Dr. del Río is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of San Diego and currently serves as the Associate Provost for Inclusion and Diversity and Director of the Center of Inclusion and Diversity. He earned a PhD in the Department of Communication at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, working in the area of media and cultural studies. del Río teaches Introduction to Media Studies, Media & Conflict, and International Media.
